Bukovics, István

Dr. Bukovics, István is an emerited fire brigade engineer major-general, a former commander of the National Commandership for Fire and Civil Management at the Ministry of Interior of Hungary. Candidate for engineering sciences, habilitated in military engineering sciences, Doctor of Science at the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, university professor at the National University of Public Service, Budapest, Hungary.

Actively engaged in higher adult education, PhD education, and also in education management and educational administration. His major research fields are logical risk-, cellular automaton-, and conflict analysis, sustainable public administration and the paradigmatic theory of the Good State.

He is a visiting professor at several higher educational institutes, a permanent member of the Advisory Board of the Ministry of Interior of Hungary, a founding member of the presidency of the Hungarian Association of Police Science.

He has written, edited and proofread more than 30 books, and he is the author of 260 scientific publications.
